DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH ADENOVIRUS KERATOCONJUNCTIVITIS IN AN OUTPATIENT SETTING
Keywords:
conjunctivitis, adenovirus infection, ophthalmoferonAbstract
The goal is to study the clinic and treatment characteristics of patients with adenovirus keratoconjunctivitis in an outpatient setting.
Materials and methods
66 patients with adenoviral keratoconjunctivitis (AVCC) aged 18-57 who were treated on an outpatient basis at the Bukhara branch of the republican specialized eye microsurgery scientific-practical medical center branch were monitored.
Results:
The use of ophthalmoferon in the complex treatment of patients with AVCC helps to reduce the clinical severity of corneal lesions (shortening the time of corneal epithelization, resorption of corneal infiltrates), shortening the treatment time of patients by 5-6 days.
Oftalmoferon is a safe and effective treatment for adenoviral conjunctivitis.
