CHANGES IN THE “MOTHER-PLACENTA-FETUS” SYSTEM IN PREGNANT WOMEN WITH RESPIRATORY VIRAL INFECTION
Abstract
Unlike the general population, pregnant women constituted a special group with a significantly higher risk of viral pneumonia as a unique “immunological” condition and changes in lung function during pregnancy [4, 5, 6], and intrauterine infection is one of the most serious complications of viral pneumonia. The new coronavirus infection COVID-19 (COrona VIrus Disease 2019) is a new zooanthroponous respiratory infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus [2, 3]. Studies of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, conducted in different countries of the world, made it possible to identify the most vulnerable groups of the population for this infection, study the course of the infection and develop methods of treatment and prevention.Downloads
