Educational Effectiveness of Using Educational Games for Language Integration

Abstract

This research investigates the use of didactic games as a technique for integrating language learning in bilingual classrooms, with a specific emphasis on Russian and Uzbek as primary languages of instruction. Traditional grammar teaching approaches can frequently disengage students, particularly in an age of ubiquitous digital distractions. According to this study, imaginative, interactive exercises like "Pin the Part of Speech on the Pig" and "Clover Memory Game" give a novel approach to grammar training that captures the interest of young learners and increases their participation. These games allow students to practice identifying and matching parts of speech in three languages: Russian, Uzbek, and English, promoting multilingual development and linguistic awareness. The games integrate physical exercise, memory difficulties, and visual aids, making them ideal for young learners who like movement and competitiveness. Adapting these exercises with digital tools such as PowerPoint also improves accessibility, allowing technology to be used to encourage students even more. The usefulness of these strategies is emphasized, with the ultimate goal of assisting bilingual students in language proficiency in an engaging, inclusive setting.
