Abstract

Project-based learning (PBL) is considered as an instructional pedagogical approach that engages the learners in the studying process through hands-on activities. This approach emphasizes student-centered collaboration and encourages the students to take the responsibility and the ownership in their educational path. Several research findings indicate that students who are engaged in PBL demonstrate higher commitment to their mission and offer innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

This article investigates the effectiveness of PBL in fostering critical and problem-solving skills and enhancing student engagement in studying process. Moreover, it also underlines the need for educational institutions and organizations to implement PBL so as to create learning environment that inspires the learners to become proactive professionals in their field.
