Abstract

This scientific article explores the critical nexus between language policy and the development of language learning processes in Uzbekistan. Tracing the historical evolution of language policies, we examine their profound impact on language education, national identity, and socioeconomic development. Assessing the current language policy landscape and education infrastructure, we identify challenges and propose opportunities for improvement. The article underscores the pivotal role of language in fostering communication, cultural preservation, and global collaboration. Drawing on best practices from diverse contexts, we conclude with a call to action for a comprehensive and inclusive language policy, essential for the sustainable development of Uzbekistan.
