Abstract

The growth of septic complications in pregnant women and during puerperal period is one of the urgent obstetric problems that require a detailed study of the causes and risk factors. The prevalence of premature rupture of the membranes is 2.7–19%, and then chorioamnionitis develops in women during childbirth, which can cause prolonged latent and active phases of labor, infection and the development of fetal hypoxia and postpartum purulent-septic complications.
