Abstract

This article examines the life, legacy, and scientific achievements of Mirzo Ulugbek, a prominent 15th-century astronomer and mathematician from Central Asia. As a ruler and a scholar, Ulugbek established the Ulugbek Observatory in Samarkand, where he conducted precise astronomical observations and created the "Zij-i Sultani," an influential star catalog. His work significantly advanced the fields of astronomy and mathematics, providing insights and data that were used by future generations of scientists. Ulugbek's contributions remain a testament to his dedication to science and education, cementing his place in the history of world astronomy.
