Abstract

This article explores effective strategies for tailoring English language instruction for non-philology students through the lens of English for Specific Purposes (ESP). It emphasizes the importance of conducting needs analysis, integrating authentic materials, focusing on communication skills, utilizing technology, creating collaborative learning environments, incorporating interdisciplinary approaches, and providing continuous assessment and feedback. By aligning language instruction with the specific linguistic and communicative demands of various professional fields, educators can enhance the relevance and effectiveness of English courses, ultimately equipping students with the necessary skills for their academic and professional success.
