Abstract

In Uzbek classical music, the Makom genre occupies a leading place. Maqams have existed in the musical culture of the peoples of the Near and Middle East since ancient times. It was created by accomplished musicians and singers and developed in the 9th-10th centuries, enriched with new tools. This article talks about the art of maqam and the special features of the maqam methods of the F argana Valley.
