Abstract

In this article, the co-authors consider the features of restorative justice. Moreover, the US practice of using mediation as a type of restorative justice procedure is given and the essence of mediation and the possibilities of application are described in detail. In conclusion, the authors give conclusions about the prospect of using mediation in criminal proceedings in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
