Abstract

This article presents experiments and their results aimed at studying the antibiotic properties of Azolla caroliniana biomass and the areas of determination and use of substances in Azolla caroliniana Willd biomass.

The object of study was the biomass of a plant belonging to the class Polypodiopsida, Salviniales and Azollaceae family, Azolla caroliniana Willd (Carolina azalea). This plant is brought from the collection of the Laboratory of Photobiotechnology of the Institute of Soil Science and Photosynthesis of the Russian Academy of Sciences (head of the laboratory, Professor I.N.
