Abstract

Allergy (allergia from allos - other, ergon - action) is a different action compared to immune reactions. Allergy is a state of increased and qualitatively perverted reaction to substances with antigenic properties and even without them. Allergies differ from immunity in that the allergen itself does not cause damage.
