MODERN APPROACH AND OPTIMIZATION OF COMPLEX THERAPY OF SPHENOIDITIS PROBLEM

Abstract

All patients with suspected sphenoiditis underwent rhinological, endoscopic, radiological, bacteriological, immunological, as well as neurological and ophthalmological examinations. It was revealed that radiological diagnosis of isolated sphenoiditis coincides with clinical data in 85% of cases. Inflammatory diseases of the main sinus often occur with neuro-ophthalmological and neurological symptoms, which requires additional examination by neurologists and ophthalmologists. Diagnosis and treatment of sphenoiditis should be comprehensive, including additional methods of examination and therapy.

 Objective: To improve the diagnosis of CP and optimize the complex therapy of sphenoiditis.
