IMMUNOTHERAPY IN REDUCING THE FREQUENCY OF INFECTIOUS PULMONARY COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH CHEST INJURY

Abstract

A total of 249 patients with chest injuries were examined, of whom 68 patients developed infectious pulmonary complications. Depending on the use of immunotherapy (IT), patients were divided into two groups: I - completed traditional IT; II-IT-siz. Relative and absolute number of lymphocytes of the main populations were determined: (CD3 +) - T lymphocytes and (CD19 +) - lymphocytes, T cell subpopulations: (CD4 +) T helpers and (CD8 +) T cytotoxic lymphocytes, concentration of immunoglobulins of class A, G, M; as well as the concentration with reactive protein and procalcitonin. In group i of patients, the number of patients with IVL duration of more than three days decreased by 28.5%, the incidence of early pneumonia and sepsis decreased by 31.3 and 8.7%, respectively; Reduced the length of stay in the intensive care unit from 14.4 to 8.2 days and the mortality rate decreased by 8.7%.
