Abstract

Combination therapy in both groups was significantly effective in influencing bone mineral density (BMD) L1-L4. Therapy using Forcal plus showed a significantly greater increase in BMD in the vertebrae. There was a significantly greater decrease in pain syndrome. In conclusion, it should be noted that Forcal plus is an effective treatment for osteoporosis (OP). Its long-term use in the complex therapy of various forms of OP leads not only to a progressive increase in BMD in the lumbar spine and proximal femur, but also to a decrease in the risk of vertebral fractures.
