Abstract

As a result of the influence of external factors on the body, various changes occur in the organs. Compensatory adaptations occur under the influence of external environmental factors in the salivary glands, which are important in the digestive process. Changes occur not only in the glands, but also in the composition and quantity of their product, saliva. This article presents a review of the literature on changes in the salivary glands as a result of external factors.
