Relationship of Hemodynamic and Echographic Indicators in Arterial Hypertension
Keywords:
left ventricular remodeling, left atrial stunning, cardiac arrhythmias, arterial hypertension.Abstract
Development of left atrium remodeling in the early stages of increased blood pressure. "Stunning" of the myocardium - its clinical significance, since the decrease in myocardial contractility during stunning is reversible, has remained controversial. High blood pressure leads to the development of left ventricular remodeling, which includes the processes of hypertrophy and expansion, changes in geometry, and diastolic functions. The rhythm disturbance itself causes dilatation and remodeling of the left atrium. On the other hand, this rhythm disturbance itself causes the left atrial dilatation. However, recent research data indicate that a more accurate indicator of structural reconstruction of left atrial stunning remodeling is the left atrial volume index.
