Abstract

The survey is based on 28 HIV-infected patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who underwent complex treatment together with virologists, of which 3 (10.7%) cases had tuberculosis focal pulmonary tuberculosis, and infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis in 19 (67.9 %), disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis in 1 (3.6%), cirrhotic pulmonary tuberculosis in 1 (3.6%), tuberculosis pleurisy in 2 (7.1%) and pulmonary tuberculosis in 2 (7.1 %) patients. Of the examined patients, in 11 (39.3%) cases, tuberculosis of the right lung was observed, damage to the left lung was observed in 15 (53.6%), and tuberculosis of both lungs was observed in 2 (7.1%) patients. All patients underwent a comprehensive study: clinical, laboratory, immunological, bacteriological and instrumental. Bacteriological examination of sputum was carried out using molecular genetic (Gene Expert, HAIN Test) methods and methods of inoculation on liquid (MGite BACTEK 960) or solid (Levenshtein-Jensen) medium with subsequent detection of the sensitivity of tuberculosis mycobacterium to anti-TB drugs.
