Abstract

Maternal health depends on the reproductive health of women after an early pregnancy termination. Even if the number of abortions in Uzbekistan has decreased, early pregnancy terminations still carry several serious health risks, such as infertility, hormonal imbalances, and long-term reproductive issues. However, little is known about the female reproductive system's ability to adapt after an abortion, particularly about various types of termination. To fill this knowledge gap, this study looks at women's hormonal condition and adaption after an early pregnancy termination to determine the best post-procedural care techniques. A prospective analysis of hormone levels and a retrospective evaluation of medical histories were conducted on a cohort of 100 women of reproductive age. The techniques used included ultrasound imaging to evaluate endocrine and reproductive responses as well as clinical, biochemical, and hormonal assessments, early pregnancy termination has been shown to upset hormonal balance, resulting in a longer adaption period that could affect future fertility and pregnancy outcomes. Depending on the type of termination, different adaption levels were seen; pharmacological treatments exhibited fewer issues than surgical choices. Hormonal corrections following an abortion also showed promise in reestablishing hormonal balance and minimizing adverse effects, especially when combined with oral contraceptives that contain folates. This study emphasizes how crucial customized, hormone-focused post-abortion treatment is to reducing long-term hazards to reproductive health. The results indicate a more thorough approach to gynecology by highlighting effective post-abortion rehabilitation and preventive interventions to maintain women's reproductive health continuity.
