REVIEW ARTICLE ABOUT MOLECULAR DETECTION OF BRAIN CANCER
Abstract
Brain cancer, also known as a brain tumor, occurs when abnormal cells grow rapidly in the brain or its surrounding tissues. Brain cancer can be primary, beginning in the brain, or metastatic, originating in other body parts like the lung, breast, skin, kidney, or colon. Brain cancer poses serious challenges due to the intricacies of the human brain itself, as well as the presence of the blood-brain barrier, which provides an effective shield against various substances in the bloodstream. An accurate diagnosis of a brain tumor is vital for treatment, which often requires invasive surgery. Therefore, a newer and more effective diagnostic approach is critical to improving clinical practice.
