Abstract

This research study was conducted on obese female patients in the Obesity Center as well as private laboratories for pathological analysis in the city of Tikrit. Samples amounting to 90 blood samples were collected, which included the control group and those with hereditary and non-genetic obesity, during a period from 10/4/2023 to 2/12/2024 for age groups (20-60) years and for women only. This study was conducted to estimate the concentration of growth hormone, adrenaline, oxytocin, and some biochemical variables, including (calcium, magnesium, zinc, lipase, amylase, malondialdehyde, and glutathione. In this research, (50) blood samples were collected from women aged between (20-60) years, including women suffering from hereditary obesity. The study also included healthy women as a control group, and their number was (40) samples distributed between (20) women with non-genetic obesity and (20) non-obese women, ranging in age. (20-60) years oldThe results showed that growth hormone, adrenaline, glutathione, and malondialdehyde showed a highly significant decrease in the probability level (P ≤ 0.01) in the blood serum of women with hereditary and non-genetic obesity compared to healthy women.
