Abstract

Meningiomas (M), according to the literature, account for 18-34% of primary brain tumors, second only in frequency tumors of the neuroectodermal series [3]. The term "parasagittal" meningioma" was proposed by Cushing H. in 1922 to designate tumors located along the superior longitudinal sinus and emanating from its walls. They can grow into its lumen, spread in one or both directions. Also to the parasagittal include M falciform process, which secondarily affects the walls superior sagittal sinus (SSS), very significantly spread along the dorsolateral surface at the midline.
