The article touches upon the field of psycholinguistics, which studies the speech behavior of a person and his memory in the process of learning a foreign language. Mnemonics techniques are used to increase the amount of memory. One of these techniques is the formation of artificial associations. Mnemonics increases the ability to memorize and reproduce language units. Knowledge of mnemonics techniques contributes to the effective planning of a foreign language lesson.
