Enhancing Dutar Education in Higher Education Institutions

The Dutar, a traditional string instrument, is an essential part of Central Asia’s cultural and musical heritage. This article explores strategies to enhance Dutar education in higher education institutions, emphasizing the integration of traditional and modern teaching methods. It examines the significance of the Dutar as a cultural symbol and educational tool, identifies challenges in its pedagogy, and proposes innovative approaches such as technology integration, interdisciplinary learning, and teacher training. By improving curricula, resources, and performance opportunities, this study aims to ensure the preservation and revitalization of Dutar education in contemporary academic settings.
