Abstract

The distribution of the rheme-thematic structure is not limited to the level of a single utterance or speech structure, but covers the entire text and its individual parts, forming a rhematic chain. The relationships between the links of the chain change depending on the communicative situation and purpose, but the invariant part of the content must be preserved.
