Abstract

This article raised the issues directly related to governmental need for educational reforms after PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) results. The results of PISA 2022 suggest to tackle urgent actions for considerable improvements. The writer defines the current curriculum in school education and suggests ways to improve the reading literacy among youth in Uzbekistan.
