This study explores the challenges and strategies for effective English instruction in non-philological university settings, addressing a significant knowledge gap in tailoring language education to students outside language-focused disciplines. Using a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews with students and educators, the research identifies key issues such as lack of specialized curriculum, insufficient resources, inadequate teacher training, and low student motivation. Findings reveal that customized curricula, enhanced resources, targeted teacher training, and innovative teaching methods significantly improve language learning outcomes. These results imply that adopting these strategies can enhance English proficiency among students in non-philological fields, better preparing them for global professional environments.Downloads
