Abstract

The article discusses the lexical differences of household terms used in the Northern dialect of the Karakalpak language. We analyzed the use of house terms in the dialect in phonetic and lexical variants, the occurrence of dialectisms in the plural and figurative senses, the occurrence of them in homonyms, synonyms and the old (archaic) dialectic words based on the northern dialect materials. In the lively spoken language of the population there are also cases of exchange of sounds, omitting, joining, and shortening of syllables. In the article, we did not ignore this issue and analyzed them by structure.
