Abstract

This article studies how nursery rhymes depict different ideas about space and what these mean to people personally and culturally. It also explores the concept of linguo-cultural near space, particularly focusing on personally meaningful spaces within the texts of nursery rhymes. By analyzing the linguistic and cultural elements embedded in these traditional verses, the study highlights how nursery rhymes serve as a medium for transmitting cultural values and personal identity. The research employs a qualitative approach, examining the linguistic features and cultural references that contribute to the creation of a near space that resonates personally with both children and adults.
