Abstract

This article researches the use of euphemisms as a literary element. The article places special emphasis on the place of euphemisms in literature. We know that literature is a field that includes various directions and artistic tools. In it, the writer should describe a certain event and form a character suitable for that era and the hero. In such cases, the writer must use his linguistic skills and knowledge. Writers create a speech using appropriate artistic means to reveal the image of their characters. Of course, the use of words and phrases with inner meaning in speech leads to extensive discussion and analysis of the literary work. Because of this, euphemisms are considered artistic tools that should be used. We will discuss the order and significance of their use in the work in this article.
