Genres and Styles of Uzbek Music

Abstract

This article examines the period of active formation of Uzbek pop music, which began in the second half of the twentieth century, and how its development was greatly influenced by the trends of world pop music, and the work of masters of the art of Uzbek musical folklore, the historical stages of the development of genre and style features of Uzbek pop music, and how the Uzbek pop music was able to acquire its specific, special and multifaceted features, which laid the foundation for its further and fruitful development at the present stage.
