Abstract

This research will develop PjBL-based LKPD that suits the needs of science subjects at SMP Negeri 6 Bitung. The development of the LKPD will be carried out using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development method, which is one of the systematic approaches used in designing and developing learning materials.

With the PjBL-based LKPD being developed, it is hoped that science teachers in junior high schools can use it to increase learning effectiveness and develop students' skills in understanding and applying natural science practically. Apart from that, it is also hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the development of education in Indonesia by presenting alternative learning methods that are more innovative and relevant to students' current needs.

In this context, this research was conducted to fill the gap in current research by developing PjBL-based LKPD that suits the needs of science subjects at SMP Negeri 6 Bitung. This research will also involve the ADDIE development method, which is considered a systematic and structured method for developing effective learning materials. By filling this research gap, it is hoped that this research can contribute to improving the quality and outcomes of science learning at SMP Negeri 6 Bitung and present alternative learning methods that are more innovative and relevant to student needs.
