the article is devoted to the structural structure of competences in the development of gender equality thinking in students, types of competences with common gradualism, the field of real objects of reality where competences find their confirmation, the socio-practical necessity and importance of competences, the student's understanding of the essence and personal importance of competence according to his attitude to the object.
