Abstract

An incomplete family is a fairly common phenomenon in modern society. However, this form of family can have a negative impact on the psychological development of children. The purpose of this study is to study the negative complications that arise in the psyche of children as a result of an incomplete family and suggest ways to solve them. The study identified the following negative consequences: increased levels of anxiety, psychosomatic disorders, depression, behavioral problems and low self-esteem. To solve these problems, the following ways were proposed: strengthening relationships with a single parent, seeking support in the social environment, psychotherapy, participation in group classes and sports sections.
