Abstract

This article is devoted to the Russian language and its role in modern Uzbekistan. The article describes the historical significance of the Russian language for Uzbekistan, its role in education and international relations. The article emphasizes that Russian continues to be an important language of communication in Uzbekistan despite the fact that the Uzbek language has been actively developing in recent years. The Russian language continues to be used in scientific research, in international contacts, in culture and art, which emphasizes its importance and necessity for Uzbekistan.
