Abstract

The article highlights the methodology for the formation of educational, linguistic and cultural competencies of students in translating the analysis of the component composition of phraseological units. The topic is relevant. In the practical mastering of the language, the role of phraseological units is becoming increasingly important. They, along with other linguistic units, are the building material of the language. Subject to the correct interpretation of the phraseological unit and its use in various manifestations, the student's linguistic and cultural competence is acquired. Phraseologisms also expand and help to diversify the vocabulary of students.
