Geological and Physical-Chemical Characteristics of Potash Mines of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Abstract

Uzbekistan's specialization in cotton cultivation determined the use of this type of fertilizers only for this crop, but even such use could not provide scientifically based standards (100-120 kg/ha). It was determined that it is highly desirable to increase the standards of potash fertilizers for other crops (grain, sugarcane, fodder), which will significantly increase the demand for potash fertilizers in the republic's agriculture.
