At present, there are two methods of thermo mechanical extraction of cane pulp. The first is to convert cane chips into fiber in a pulp mill, and the second is to grind cane pulp in disc mills. The grinding process in the mill occurs due to the mechanical friction of the cane against the rotating grinding stone. The technological feature of this process is that due to the water supply to the shower, fibers are obtained in the form of hydromass with a large amount of third-party inclusions. And as a result, with this method of fiber production, additional cleaning and sorting steps are required, which increases the duration of the board material production process and thus reduces the productivity of the equipment, which ultimately leads to an increase in production volume. This article provides information on the production of chipboard from local cane material.
