Knee Osteoart Hritis: Problems and Social Significance

Abstract

This review highlights the socio -epidemiological features of osteoarthritis with a focus on gonarthrosis. It shows the problems of pathology in pathogenetic, diagnostic, therapeutic and social terms. The social significance of osteoarthritis is determined by the increase in the associated disability and disability, especially in older age groups, as well as a sharp decline in the quality of life in this disease.
