Abstract

Its creative, practical, and all-encompassing nature is brought to light via education. People are the building blocks of society, and Vivekananda stresses that in order to improve society, education must reach all classes. What education is all about is helping people become more self-aware, which in turn gives them a greater feeling of dignity. He is working towards a world where scientific and technological advancements do not conflict with the ancient, traditional values of India. The remedy for all societal ills lies in man's transformation via spiritual and moral education. Therefore the study has been carried out to look at Swamiji’s views on Education, to study the Philosophy of Education as envisioned by Vivekananda and to discuss the importance of Swamiji’s Philosophy of education in the present Scenario.
