FEATURES OF CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS AND TREATMENT OF ALLERGIC RHINITIS IN CHILDREN WITH VARIOUS PATHOLOGIES OF THE NASAL CAVITY

Abstract

The aim of the study. To study the effectiveness of treatment of adult patients with allergic rhinitis (AR) and nasal septum deviation (NSD), taking into account the type of NSD.

Material and methods. An analysis of publications (articles and relevant abstracts) presented in the PubMed and eLibrary databases for the period 2023-2024 was carried out. The material was selected using the keywords: nasal septum deviation, allergic rhinitis, comorbidity.

Results and Discussion. The published research results indicate a negative effect of NSD on the course of AR, as well as a decrease in the effectiveness of AR therapy combined with NSD.
