Abstract

The article analyzes the clinical and neurological condition of 32 patients with asymptomatic internal carotid artery stenosis before and six months after carotid artery surgery, as well as the results of laboratory examination and their relationship. In patients with asymptomatic stenosis of the internal carotid artery in the postoperative period, neuropsychiatric status and blood tests for apolipoproteins and lipoproteins were observed in dynamics. The results of the study were analyzed and studied the role of apolipoproteins in the development of atherosclerosis in patients and their relationship with anatomical and neurological status and lipoproteins. The results of the study confirm that apolipoproteinscan be considered as biomarkers in the development of atherosclerosis.
