Abstract

The group of patients included in the study consisted of 107 patients with choledocholithiasis. In patients with calculous cholecystitis and choledocholithiasis it is expedient to perform hybrid operations using the proposed improved one-stage LCE with assisted EPST in Rendezvous technique and choledocholithoextraction. The improved technique of LCE with assisted EPST is effective with an average risk of choledocholithiasis in 87.9% of observations, which is 18.9% higher than traditional EPST, p = 0.035, and is accompanied by a 17.7% lower incidence of EPST-associated complications, p = 0.017
