Abstract

The present study aimed to evaluate the levels of PTH and several biochemical factors in the blood serum of patients with chronic renal failure. The study was conducted on patients with chronic renal failure of both sexes, who visit Baqubah General Hospital and private or external laboratories in Baqubah city. 60 samples were collected for patients and 60 samples from healthy people during the period from 10/1/2023 to 5/20/2024. Those who undergo hemodialysis in the hemodialysis hall (artificial kidney) took the sample, and their ages ranged between (25-70). years. The results indicated that the level of PTH and phosphorus ion showed a significant increase at a significant level (P>0.05) in the serum of the patient group. We conclude from our current study that there is a relationship between chronic renal failure and PTH hormone. Biochemical factors taken by the current study.
