Abstract

: Nowadays, brain tumor surgery has made a big step forward compared to what was in neurosurgery in past decades. The most modern scientific developments have appeared in the arsenal of neurosurgeons - laser, endoscopy, high-intensity ultrasound, etc. The use of modern minimally invasive access in the surgical treatment of tumors of the base of the anterior and middle cranial fossa, the development and implementation of optimal surgical access, microsurgical removal of the tumor and replacement of the defect of the skull base and dura mater made it possible to reduce the degree of surgical trauma.
