Until the XX century, the average life expectancy of the female population rarely exceeded the childbearing line. With the passage of time, the development of medicine and the improvement of living conditions, the average life expectancy has increased, reaching 70-80 years for the female population. At the same time, a number of problems associated with the natural aging process of the female body have appeared. One of these problems is menopause (from the Greek climax – "ladder", translated from English as "the highest point, culmination, peak"), which is a physiological period of domination of involutional processes in the reproductive system [1, 2].Downloads
