Abstract

It is known from sources of literature data that osteoporosis in women develops with a decrease in the intake of sufficient amounts of the hormone estrogen into the blood, which, in turn, triggers mechanisms that disrupt the balance between the process of destruction and formation of bone tissue, this factor negatively affects the processes of osseointegration during dental implantation, and preventive intake of mineral supplements in the form of calcium and vitamin D preparations do not effectively restore mineral metabolism in the body. A decrease in the quality and effectiveness of dental implantation surgery has a negative impact on the process of restoring chewing efficiency in this contingent of patients, which complicates further orthopedic treatment and rehabilitation of patients with dentition defects.
