Abstract

The presented analytical review provides information on various virological pathologies that currently pose a danger to women's health in gynecology and obstetric practice. The data of domestic and foreign literature reflecting the most common methods of diagnosis of CMVI and herpes viruses, which mainly provoke the development of serious complications in fetal development, their information composition and assessment of deficiencies, are also presented. The epidemiology, complications, and consequences of viruses that cause serious danger or severe complications to the life of the mother and fetus, as well as modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment, are briefly considered. These recorded data can provide a complete picture of the state of the problem of laboratory diagnostics and serve as a basis for the development of further sound research directions for herpesviruses. From the conducted analyses, it can be concluded that any infection that causes II, depending on the duration of pregnancy, occupies a leading place in the occurrence of adverse complications and severe consequences not only for the fetus, but also for the health of a pregnant woman. It was noted that not only a woman, but also almost equally a man, play a role in the transmission of infections to the fetus, which are considered to lead to serious complications during pregnancy, and that these infections can even lead to infertility in men, as well as in women. Currently, there are highly sensitive and specific laboratory diagnostic methods that allow for rapid and timely investigation of the etiology of the disease with a high degree of confidence, which, in turn, increases the chances of early initiation of etiotropic therapy to improve the prognosis of II. It is also worth noting that this measure is not without benefits for certain periods of pregnancy, even if the measures are not considered optimal.
