Abstract

In recent years¬, there has been a significant increase in the incidence of chronic forms of glomerulonephritis that manifest in childhood [1, 8, 12]. In science and practice, the question of whether acute glomerulonephritis (OGN) transforms into chronic glomerulonephritis (CGN), or whether the immunopathological process has a primary chronic course has not been definitively resolved [3, 5, 7]. It is still very difficult to predict the course and outcome of the disease in each individual case¬. According to the available data, glomerulonephritis is considered as¬an immune-mediated disease with diffuse proliferative-exudative damage to the glomerular apparatus of the kidneys,¬caused by an imbalance of regulatory mechanisms of immunocompetent cells and glomerular cells with the involvement of other components of the renal tissue in the pathological process [4, 6, 9].¬However, the significance of individual immune disorders in the formation of glomerulonephritis, especially in¬children, remains poorly understood, and there is no consensus on the differentiated mechanisms of the-immunopathogenesis of acute and chronic glomerulonephritis. Until now, the issues of assessing the prognosis of the course and outcome of glomerulonephritis that occurred in childhood, based on the analysis of changes in clinical-¬and laboratory parameters in the initial stage of the disease, are still unresolved [2, 3].
