Abstract

This article aims to review the features of the rehabilitation period following two-stage dental implantation in patients with diabetes. The prevalence of diabetes is increasing globally, and dental implantation procedures are often necessary for restoring oral function in diabetic individuals. However, diabetes poses unique challenges to the success of dental implantation, including impaired wound healing, increased risk of infection, and compromised bone metabolism.
